Tokenomics #SMRTY

The #SMRTY token we airdropped during our campaign with Saga is not tradeable, meaning it cannot be bought or sold. Its use case will be introduced later in the game's development, where it can be used to purchase in-game items, boosters, and upgrades. The token on the Saga-Chainlet is just one of many, as we plan to go cross-blockchain as soon as possible.

Basics

While the game will feature an off-chain currency for leveling up NFTs, buying boosters, and other activities, we plan to introduce our native #SMRTY token during the Beta version development. Our primary focus is to maintain a fair entry level for the game while also enhancing its value for long-term holders. Additionally, we are aiming for a 2% annual deflation rate for our on-chain token to ensure a sustainable ecosystem.

Details regarding the numerical distribution, smart contract, including audits, will be made available as soon as they are finalized.

In-game vs. On-chain token

To ensure equitable trading conditions, we've implemented a mechanism akin to that of a Forex exchange. Our objective is to maintain a balanced transfer rate between the in-game tokens and the on-chain token, mirroring real-world trading dynamics. This strategic approach not only infuses the game with an additional layer of realism but also provides later-stage participants with a fair and rational entry point. By closely aligning our in-game economy with actual market principles, we aim to create a stable and transparent trading environment that benefits all players, enhancing the strategic depth and engagement of the gaming experience.

Saga - Chainlet #SMRTY

Whatever you do, you need to start somewhere. We did on the Saga-blockchain by creating our own sub-chain, the Smart Money Chainlet. There we airdropped our first batch of #SMRTYs. Those tokens are exclusively for that purpose and will be integrated/migrated/merged into the final tokenomics solution in a way that a front end user/player won´t see any difference, neither in amount nor in use experience.
